I've had a great experience finishing up the associate program and learning everything I can learn in the program. Another is being the very best person and hairstylist I can be.
Spends free time:
I love to watch movies, hang out with friends and family. I love shopping, going to the lake and swimming in my pool. My "Momma" is my best friend and I couldn't imagine my life without her!

When did you know you wanted to do hair?
Basically since I was old enough to know what hair was. I was the little girl that always destroyed my Barbies, and forced my little cousins and sister to let me do their hair. One time I got a round brush stuck in my cousin's hair and it took my dad three hours to get it out! Now I'm the only person they will let touch their hair!
How would you describe your approach to doing hair?
First, I would introduce myself and offer them something to drink. Second, I would sit them down and get eye level with them, and ask them what they were looking for, what they like and what they don't like about their hair. Then, I would give them my advice and opinion.
What inspires your creativity?
The desire to please people and give them the style they've always wanted. When my guests are happy, I'm happy!
What advice would you give someone considering coloring their hair for the first time?
It depends on what they are looking for. If it was a dramatic change, I would tell them to take it slow so we can make sure that it's everything that they ever wanted!
How do you customize hair color for each and every guest?
I would never do anything without a consutation, I'm always going to listen to my guest. We would always have a consultation, first time or not.
What celebrity always has great hair?
Jennifer Aniston - A lot of women have talked about her hair for years!
Jessica Simpson - Her blonde always looks great!
The Kardashians - Their brunette hair is always shiny and healthy looking.
How do you approach cutting hair?
If they were new, I would ask them what they were wanting to see or feel, if they like styling their hair or if they wanted something easy. If they were a returning guest, I would ask them what they thought they liked and didn't like about the cut. I want their hair and lifestyle to suit each other.
Describe your personal style:
I like to wear all kinds of stuff. It just depends on the occasion. To work, I usually wear leggings and a very fashionable shirt. I'm a little eccentric! But when I'm at home, you can find me in sweat pants and a big t-shirt!
