Jennifer Price - Salon Manager

Jennifer Price began her career in the beauty industry in 2002, attending cosmetology school in Indianapolis. After obtaining her license, she relocated to Atlanta, where she worked behind the chair, as well as on multiple fashion shows and events, including Music Midtown and twice being featured on TBS' Movie and a Makeover. In 2008, she moved to Knoxville and joined the staff of Salon Biyoshi. Her commitment to education and excellent customer service earned her continued promotions in the Summit program to a level 3 stylist.. In 2010, Jennifer became a Redken Certified Colorist, a rigorous test in which applicants must demonstrate total knowledge of color and excellent technical skills. Shortly after, she was honored to be hired on as a Pureology Pure Artist, giving her the opportunity to share education with other stylists across the country. Salon Biyoshi hired Jennifer as their first full time manager in 2012, giving her an opportunity to explore the business side of the industry, and she quickly realized this was where her greatest passion came to life. While managing, Jennifer was able to attend a full Summit business program, as well as work directly with Michael Cole, Sam Villa, and Ruth Roche among other notable educators, to bring world class education to the salon. In 2015, Jennifer chose to take an opportunity with SalonCentric to become a Salon Sales Consultant. In this role, she was able to get a full education of the industry, while helping stylists and salon owners manage their businesses every day. As rewarding as the sales consultant role was, Jennifer ultimately decided that her true passion is managing and chose to return to Salon Biyoshi to once again work with a team she considers family.
