6 Months Before Your Wedding
Schedule an initial consultation with Salon Biyoshi. This will be our opportunity to get to know you and learn about your vision for your wedding day. Bring photos of any wedding hair styles that you like as well as photos of your dress. It is also a good idea to bring any hair accessories or your veil if you are planning to wear one so that we can plan the best method of attachment to your style.
Schedule a trial run appointment. Ideally, a trial run should be planned at least 2 months before your wedding day. Our stylists will create a test version of your wedding hair and makeup so that you can see how it will look and then fine tune your look before the big day.
Book appointments in advance for bridal hair styles, manicures, pedicures, and makeup services for yourself and your bridesmaids for your wedding day to ensure that our stylists are available on the day of your ceremony.
Book appointments in advance for waxing, hair color and haircuts, too.
6 to 8 Weeks Before Your Wedding
Visit Salon Biyoshi for your previously scheduled trial run for your bridal hair and makeup appointment. Some brides also like to plan their wedding portraits on the same day as their trial run appointments so that their hair and makeup is guaranteed to look amazing!
2 Weeks Before Your Wedding
If you are thinking about a new hair color, keratin treatment, or highlights, you should book these services about 2 weeks before your actual wedding day. This will give your hair time to adjust to the new color, treatment or haircut.
If your hair is frizzy or unruly, a keratin treatment can work wonders for transforming your tresses from unruly to super soft and smooth. A deep conditioning treatment is also highly beneficial and can help to repair damage as well as restore shine and softness to your hair.
Also have your final eyebrow wax and facial wax two weeks before your big day, this will allow your skin to heal and be in good condition for the wedding.
The Day Before Your Wedding
Make sure that your hands and feet look amazing with a previously scheduled bridal manicure and pedicure. We suggest Shellac nail polish which will not only give your nails gorgeous color and shine, but will also last for up to 14 days without chipping, smudging or smearing! This means your nails will look lovely for your honeymoon as well as the wedding. A manicure is also a wonderful treat for the groom!
Make an appointment for a casual hairstyle for the rehearsal dinner. Add a professional makeup application too, so that your hair and makeup will both look incredible for the entire evening.
Your Wedding Day
Arrive at our hair salon for your appointment with dry hair and wear a button up or zip up shirt. If you have a veil or hair accessories, remember to bring these to your appointment as well.
